New Look Coming September 2017

Jason Kaczorowski Photography is incredible excited to announce a brand new look and website launching in September of 2017!

My new logo, branding and website pay homage to one of the most visually stunning periods of the 1920’s and 30’s, Art Deco. The style, which reached the apex of its popularity in Paris, France in 1925, was heralded as the pre-eminence of luxury. The bold, mesmerizing, and almost Utopian movement developed as one of the first universal styles in over 100 years that combines the design forms of the past to create the vision of the future. It reflected the human need for pleasure and escape, providing a modern outlook on life. Art Deco combined modernist styles with fine craftsmanship and rich materials and represented glamour and faith in social and technological progress. Art Deco was a celebration of life in its most luxurious form. What better compliment to mirror my style of bold, dynamic photography and symbolize the exuberance of modern weddings.

Chicago is rich with Art Deco design. Look at the architecture of the Carbide & Carbon Building (now the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago) built in 1929 and designed by the Burnham Brothers, Daniel and Hubert Burnham. Though there is a rumor that the building was designed to appear like a champagne bottle, with its golden top and green-tinted terracotta facade, the truth is that it was designed to look like one of the batteries that would have used the chemicals that Carbide and Carbon made. The Board of Trade and Rookery on LaSalle Street, along with the nearby W Hotel (formerly the Midland Hotel) and Civic Opera Building, are not only popular wedding portrait locations in Chicago but also steeped in rich Art Deco history.

Equally represented, and often a location my team and I photograph weddings more and more frequently, is found along the southern coast of Florida. Miami remains one of the most beautiful and architecturally enchanting slivers of South Florida. After the hurricane of 1926, Miami’s South Beach was reborn in Art Deco. The era of rebuilding focused on resurrecting the fledgling resort community into the chic new style that had come out of the 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale des Artes Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, which later became shortened to simply ‘Art Deco.’

Much like the Art Deco prevalent throughout Chicago and Miami, Jason Kaczorowski Photography is combining striking, timeless portraiture with modern compelling photojournalism to deliver mesmerizing moments that captures the decadence and excitement of your wedding.

And with this coming relaunch I couldn’t be more excited to announce that Jason Kaczorowski Photography will now be offering wedding photography year round in both Chicago and South Florida including Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Doral, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach, Tampa, St. Petersburg, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Miramar, Sarasota, Clearwater, Key Biscayne, Dover, Boynton Beach, Odessa, Clearwater, Boca Raton, Islamorada and Key West. As always, Jason Kaczorowski Photography will continue to capture Destination Weddings in the greatest locations worldwide.
